The Protexus Cordless Electrostatic Sprayer comes with a 60-micron spray nozzle. The 60-micron setting is appropriate for regularly cleaning small-sized / confined spaces, such as offices, airplane cabins, etc.  The optional 3-in-1 Adjustable Spray Nozzle (an add-on component for Protexus Handheld Sprayers, and a standard component for Protexus Backpack Sprayers) has an adjustable 60/80/110-micron setting. As mentioned, the 60-micron setting can be used for regular cleaning of small-sized / confined spaces. The 80-micron setting can be used for regular cleaning of medium to large-sized / spaces, such as gymnasiums, cafeterias and auditoriums. Finally, the 110-micron setting would be used for oversized / unconfined spaces, such as and sports stadiums and the like.  Because these micron sizes do not qualify as fine particles under EPA guidelines, users are not required to wear respiratory PPE during operation.

Since this sprayer system is also cordless, the user does not need to worry about proximity to a power source. At about four hours of run time on a single battery, the electrostatic sprayer can be used to achieve most intended tasks in a single session. It also weighs in at around three and a half pounds which makes it easily maneuverable and portable for any user.

When it comes to sound level, this unit runs extremely quiet to give the user the ability to operate it just about anywhere during any part of the day. At 60 decibels, the sprayer operates at about the same sound level as a normal conversation. This touchless electrostatic spray “wraps around” surfaces & objects in 360°, providing 3x more coverage in the same amount of time than traditional spray bottles, buckets, and rags.

This sprayer cleaning system uses the same idea only applied to liquid droplets. Where regular vapor droplets float aimlessly through the air, the droplets from the electrostatic spray will cling directly to the object you are aiming at. This high level of efficiency in achieving desired coverage, means there is less time spent refilling the handheld sprayer and also less time in general on using it.

Having the option for spray nozzle size is incredibly beneficial since it maximizes the amount of surfaces that the user can target and clean. The 3-1 spray nozzle addition is all contained within the handheld sprayer unit. No need to change out nozzles and keep track of additional parts. Simply twist the tip of the nozzle of the sprayer to adjust the micron setting and you are on your way to a finer or larger spray to achieve the highest of surface cleaning required.
